Week 20 soft training

Keeping up my training for a so called off season, until I return from vacation in the end of June.  Total weekly training, Swim = 0, Bike = 36.47 miles, Run = 8.2 miles for an approximate time of 3 hours and 15 minutes.  Had some free time to actually go sailing.

Week 19

Total week training including half triathlon, Swim = 3400 meters, Bike = 105.26 miles, Run = 17.4 miles for approximately 9:25. 

Finished the Ironman 70.3 Florida with a total time of 5:28:58 a new PR. 

As usual the swim sucked, 50 minutes in the water is to much, 61% of the finishers were able to bit me.  Need to do something about it, I am doing a full Ironman distance towards the end of year.  Fortunately was able to maintain a 21 mph average bike leg and a 8:30 min/mile half marathon pace.

Time to take some time off, will start a light training in the weekend until mid June, then vacation time.  Full training will start in late June.

Week 18

Getting ready for the Ironman Florida 70.3 next week, Training was ok, still feel tire time to time.  Not muscle tired, but from lack of sleep, need to be able to sleep more than 5 hours.  Total weekly distance Swim= 5,800 meters, Bike=101.57 miles, Run=19 miles for a total time of 10:21.  Hopefully will have a good week of sleep and be fresh by next weekend.

Week 17

A very good week of training, feel good in all 3 sports.  Total weekly training: Swim - 5350 meters, Bike - 111.49 miles and Run - 21.25 miles for an approximate time of 11:09.
