Week 4 Recovery

Total weekly training Swim-1000 meters, Bike-71.6 miles and Run-26.1 miles for approximately 8 hours 9 minutes.  Sunday, run the ING Miami Half Marathon, keeping my pace at 8:05 minute per mile.

Week 3

Total week training Swim-4100 meters, Bike-102.5 miles and Run-21.7 miles, time 10:49 hours.  Next week is a recovery week... except for Sunday's ING half marathon, will run as a training run at a constant pace of 8 min/mile.

First Week Training

Great training week, felt real good.  Total week training Swim-3900 meters, Bike-97 miles and Run-19 miles, approximately 10 hours.
I feel like within 3 to 4 weeks I will be at the same level that I was for the Ironman 70.3 Miami.  The shorter schedule will work great for me, will have 5 weeks to improve my half iron distance time.

First Weekend Training

I am following a 20 week training plan with a final goal for the Ironman 70.3 Florida.  Since I felt like the 20 week preparation for the Ironman 70.3 Miami 2010 was too long, I will be doing a few races in between:
First race will be in 10 weeks the Gator Half Iron distance triathlon in Sarasota Florida.
Second race, 4 days after Half Iron a 5K Corporate Run in Fort Lauderdale (company event).
Third race a Classic Distance Triathlon, Nautica South Beach

The weekend was great the morning warm weather (62 to 77) in South Florida helped.  Saturday biked 35 miles followed by a 2 mile run.  Sunday Run 6 miles followed by 1200 meter swim.
